We are excited and proud to announce the release of Cadence of Hooves: A Celebration of Horses on June 27th, 2008!
Congratulations to over 170 contemporary poets whose poetry appears within this remarkable collection of poetry.
There is an undeniable physicality to these poems. Like the horses that inhabit them, these poems possess great weight and power. They are the muscle, the heart of what it means to be human and interconnected to the natural world through a network of relationships deeply rooted in history--a world in which the horse has occupied a central and recurring role.

Review copies sent!
Oh, my...has it really been that long since the last "blog?" Seems as if the details involved in getting Cadence of Hooves to the final print stage have kept me preoccupied. It's been time well spent, though, as I'm confident you'll agree when you see the finished collection which includes the work of such extraordinary poets.
Review copies are circulating, and we hope to have some excellent word back soon, setting us up for a late spring publication date. Oh, and I have postcards that feature the cover; if you'd like some, email me, and I'd be happy to send them to you.
There are several Cadence contributors who are in the process of researching and organizing possible reading venues in their geographical regions. If you're interested in doing the same or in participating in a reading in your area, email me for details.
Until then, I trust your lives are well.
Sending best wishes for your continued creative ventures.
