Apparently I'm not a very good blogger by the looks of the last update to this blog spot. I don't mean to be a bad blogger; it just happens. Maybe if the name was different--blogging sounds bleary and oh so heavy and slow. Being a blogger sounds too close to being a slogger which sounds so exhausting!
"Slow" does partially describe the pace at which I've tended to my blog spot, but there's some news on the near horizon that inspired me to give an update here. Finally, it looks like the new website is very close to going live!
Right now, the new domain host is trying to resolve an issue with pointing to the new server name and IP address. Then, I've been told it takes up to 24-48 hours for the name servers to propagate, whatever that means. As I've been working to create this new website, a seemingly endless number of possible tech glitches have found me trying to slog my way through--I'm a slogger through the forest of information technology--nettles, poison oak, thistles, thorns, quicksand. Am I feeling a bit over-dramatic here? Yes! Only because I think I see the light filtering in at the edge of the forest, and I'm hoping to go live with the new Yarroway Mountain Press website in the next few days! Exciting!
The new website includes lots of links to some amazing poets' and artists' work. We're expanding our market to include some other unique art as well as published writing. I hope you take a look. But, don't look yet. All you'll find is a message that says the website has been suspended while we wait in limbo for the tech stars to align. Harsh!
I'll keep you posted. Happy trails in the meantime.
